Animals should have equal RIGHTS : Nidhi Adlakha
Nidhi, Amritsar: Where all government organizations failed, social workers did it. Poor eagle was stuck in Chinese Thread & was hanging on a tree since 5 days, yesterday, when we came to know, we called animal husbandry but they said rescue of Eagle's come under forest department,on calling forest department first they started asking about the species but on insisting, two persons came but with empty hands, they were not having any equipment or any specialized person who can climb the tree,
so we had to call fire brigade, we are thankful that they came to rescue a bird but sadly their ladder was not long enough to reach the tree top as the bird was hanging 100 ft. from the ground. They said long ladder is only available in Chandigarh. As the day ended, we had to return, but we came back helplessly & with a very heavy heart. Today morning we received a call from Mr Vishal Sharma who was confident enough to cut the Chinese Thread by flying a kite.
& Yes, he turned out to be our hero.
Now Let's Pray for her speedy recovery.
