That’s only a few I named but there are many singers around the world whom voices just take your heart away.
But does anyone ever thought of the first song ever sung, the history of 7 note musical scale or the meaning of SA RE GA MA PA DHA NI SA?
Music

Let me put a light on that knowledge so that next time, whenever you put the radio on, you know that song were the soul & eternity for many civilizations came into being!
Some archeologists discovered first ever song in the 1950s dig in the Syrian city of Ugarit, that had proof of first recorded vocals accompanied by musical instruments dated to 700 BCE. And in 521 CE, Bothius introduced Greek Notations to Western Europe, used to create written forms of ancient folk song.
Although there are many types of song’s variations but folk songs are the oldest genre.
The first ever song depicted on a set of clay tablets with all the 7 note musical scale we are using even these days, the oldest song we have any record of, written looks like this :

Amazing Na!
Who did know that the songs we dance on whichever language they are sung in, whatever genre they have, whatever musical rhyme or scales, it is made with so much hard work and repetitive changes made as per to the melody.
In musical theory, a scale is any set of musical notes whether it’s Western music or Classical Indian or Chinese or Egyptian folk song, ordered by fundamental frequency or pitch, which further are divided into two parts:

Increasing pitch is ascending scale
Decreasing pitch is descending scale
And all the scales in the pic below has ascending/descending pitch according to the melody used vocally or via musical instruments. The sound that comes out of a singer’s vocal chords is depicted by how much melodious his/her voice is or how many tones his brain extract while understanding a musical notation.

How many of you know the full form of 7 NOTES OF SUR (Indian music)…….

7 Sur

SA – SHADJA (for Agni Devta)
RE – RISHABH (for Brahamm Devta)
GA – GANDHAR (for Goddess Saraswati)
MA- MADHYAM (for Mahadev)
PA – PANCHAM (for Goddess Laxmi)
DHA – DHAIVAT (for Lord Ganesha)
NI – NISHAD (for Sun God)
SA – SHADJA (for Agni Devta or Aahuti)
Collectively, these seven notes make a SARGAM, each dedicated to a god/goddess,  that is behind all the song ever written or sung.
Even the music played by nature is also categorized in these Indian/Western notations.
Why not?
So whenever you feel sad/happy/encouraged/blessed/angry/patriotic/crazy/cool or all the feelings in the world, you know there is a song sung for that situation.
A singer whosoever he is, no matter which country, race or religion he/she belongs to, when he/she sings takes your heart out to an imaginative world, filled with all possibilities.
As quoted anonymously:
“I CAN’T EXPLAIN IT, BUT I’LL FIND A SONG THAT CAN!”
