Samridhi, Amritsar: On Sunday, November 17, House of Dreamerz from Amritsar organized a lovely open-mic evening at Brew Bakes, Amritsar. Giving a platform to 20 artists from North India (including Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir) this was House of Dreamerz’ second open mic marking an increase in the number of audiences as well. The audience witnessed poets, storytellers, singers, stand up comedians from class 5 children and adolescents to middle-aged artists; from medical professors to students to theatre artists to graphic designers. With warm lighting and the coziness of the cafe, it was a successful artistic evening supported by the great, attentive and interactive audience, of course.

The organizers also facilitated an audio-visual recording of the performances.

I myself were delighted to perform in front of such a responsive audience. What does a speaker want ??? A bunch of good listeners who would appreciate and relate to the speaker’s content, whether it is humorous, romantic, spiritual or philosophical. That is what the essence of the event was on the 17th of November.

On this occasion, Mr. Vinay (Founder of House of Dreamers) said, “We should respect every talent, and the motive of the show was to promote local artists who are unsearched and unheard, thus, our little platform helps an artist to build up their confidence". Mr. Rahul (Director of House of Dreamerz) said, “We are really thankful to the participants who appreciated our efforts, we will try our best for future programs and I really want to thank Team Skillistan,  madam Neha Khosla and team who appreciated us for this cause and for coverage ".
